They Mocked Jesus, Too!

(Keep smiling, brothers and sisters! Keep going!)

They Mocked Jesus, Too!

They mocked Jesus, accused Him of being a sinner, said he got His power from Satan, beat and did more horrible things to Him, sentenced Him to death and crucified Him—but then, Jesus rose from the dead and proved He is who He says He is (our LORD and Savior, He is God)!

People did not take Noah seriously as he built the ark, and they carried on as usual—until the earth started to flood, and it was too late to enter the ark, and their safety was gone.

Year after year, Peninnah would taunt Hannah for not being blessed with children, and Hannah would be reduced to tears and would not even eat—until she prayed to our Heavenly Father . . . and she was blessed with a son . . . a child Peninnah did not know would one day be conceived (Glory to God).

Bottom Line:

As messengers for God, warriors for Jesus Christ, children of God, we must understand that there will be the following: mockers, naysayers, hurt people who hurt people, evil people and their words. There will be people who do not take God or us seriously. Some will be condescending, insulting, and disrespectful. However, WE MUST NOT allow anyone or the demons that are working through people, to cause us to give up on or run away from our purposes in life, our blessings, or the ministries God trusts us with. Let us remember the following:

10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

-Ephesians 6:10-17

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

-Philippians 4:13

Keep believing in God's promises! Keep pressing! Keep working for the LORD! Keep trusting God! God's got you! Keep smiling!

"Strong Woman"

"Strong Woman"

"Strong woman" does not mean the following: being argumentative, loud, combative, abusive, a know-it-all, vengeful, violent, controlling, or acting like "Miss Tough Woman".

Those things say the following: "I am hurting." "I need healing." "I am seeking attention in a toxic way." "I need direction." "I need guidance." "My femininity needs nurturing." All of those things say: "I need to understand (and even receive) real love." (Please read and study 1 Corinthians 13.)

What does a "strong woman" exhibit? The following:

Holding your peace when necessary and wisely choosing your battles—this shows strength.

Prayerfully and carefully choosing your words before speaking and instead of flying off the handle—this shows strength.

Responding with love, in a calm speaking tone, with the ability to bring down the tone of a disagreement with a mature and loving disposition—this shows strength.

Leaving things in God's hands when this is the best option—this shows strength.

Mature and loving consistency—instead of abrupt blow-ups, impatience, manipulation, and seduction—this shows strength.

Patiently explaining, edifying, teaching, having compassion, being empathetic and sympathetic, and remembering where God has brought you from—instead of condescension, behaving holier-than-thou, being rude, and quickly losing patience—this shows strength.

Being a good listener—instead of always talking, making things about yourself, quickly interrupting in a conversation, or always trying to demonstrate how much you know—this shows strength.

Listening to try to understand and to try to find a resolve—instead of listening JUST to respond (rebuttal), defend, find a flaw, argue, or find an opportunity to make yourself a victim—this shows strength.

Being able to admit to your mistakes, to hold yourself accountable for your parts in an issue, and to apologize even if you have to do so first or are the only one to do so—instead of being prideful, arrogant, stubborn, or always playing the victim—this shows strength.

Confronting someone with love and patience, instead of with yelling in anger—this shows strength.

Femininity is beautiful. Peacefulness is beautiful. Patience is beautiful. Being mindful as well as prayerful is beautiful. Being wise is beautiful. Trusting God is beautiful. All of this—especially in tough times—shows strength. We are not perfect, so please understand that growth is also beautiful.

God is not asking us as women to be spineless or voiceless. He is asking us to understand what "strong" truly means. Toxic behavior can sabotage a lot of blessings and opportunities. Misunderstanding what "strong" truly means can destroy peace. It can destroy happiness. It can destroy true love and relationships. It can hurt others. It can hurt you within.

4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

-1 Peter 3:4

Blessed "in the Presence of My Enemies"

Blessed "in the Presence of My Enemies":

Some people have found unexpected and surprising individuals trying to connect with them, in person and/or on social media: unexpected phone calls and text messages; surprising social media followers, friend requests, subscribers, inboxes, and so on. Also, some people have surprising individuals who have lingered around their life, but the reason is not clear. You have no idea why these surprising individuals would even want to connect with you or be near your life in any way—given their KNOWN negative feelings and behaviors toward you (past or present), or their close relationships or connections with your enemies. Well, do not be surprised. This is to be expected.

Remember what God's Word says will happen:

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
-Psalm 23:5

Remember that prophetic Bible verse when you find yourself surrounded by people, whether in person or online:

—Who you KNOW do not like you.

—Who you KNOW are at least not very fond of you.

—Who you are AWARE are jealous or envious of you.

—Who you KNOW have tried (or still try) to compete with you.

—Who you KNOW have a history of gossiping about you.

—Who you KNOW have let other people talk badly about you, and they stood there and said or did nothing to demonstrate their friendship or their love or respect for you, or they even participated in the bad-mouthing against you.

—Who have said mean, hurtful, or hateful things to you.

—Who you KNOW have SOMETHING against you.

—Who you KNOW are [not-so-] secretly working for someone who does not like you (spying on your life and acting as "carrier pigeons" for someone who has something against you).

—Whom you celebrate and congratulate during their special occasion and achievements, but they rarely or just never celebrate or congratulate you.

—Who have never been welcoming toward you, and/or have treated you unkindly.

—Who have KNOWINGLY hurt your feelings, broken your heart, harmed you, or sinned against you—in ANY way—but have never apologized to you and act as if their wrongdoings never happened.

When you find this "strange" phenomenon occurring in your life, and God is leading you to allow these surprising individuals to be present in some way (typically in a non-personal way)—find it NOT strange! Rather, GET READY FOR YOUR BLESSINGS TO UNFOLD! Some of those "enemies" who have surprisingly shown up or have lingered in or around your life: GOD has those individuals present for HIS reasons.

This is NOT justification for gloating or about rejoicing when our enemies fall! We should not do either (please refer to Proverbs 24:17)!

Forgive all (even without apology). Be kind to all (God is watching your actions and responses and listening to your words as well). Love all, and demonstrate that love to all (Jesus is our greatest example of how to love). Move onward with your life and—with a HUMBLE heart—enjoy God's blessings in your life.

God's reasons for wanting us to be blessed before the presence of our enemies will vary. Our enemies might somehow be reaping what they have sown in our lives. God might even be teaching our enemies some kind of valuable life lesson by blessing whom they have treated so badly. No matter what God's reasons are, God knows what He is doing, and either way, God is LOVE—and our Heavenly Father disciplines and chastises us as HIS CHILDREN WHOM HE LOVES (please read Hebrews 12:5-11).

So, also consider the following: Your forgiveness, kindness, love, and humble heart and behavior, could also bring your enemies closer to Jesus Christ (we should desire this). Remember what Jesus Christ says:

44 But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. 46 If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. 47 If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that.

-Matthew 5:44-47

Yes, some surprising and unlikely individuals who show up and try to reconnect or connect with you genuinely desire to apologize to you, make things right, befriend you, or be in your life in a loving way. However, the Holy Spirit is guiding me to only deliver the message above because: A SHIFT HAS ALREADY OCCURRED (in Jesus mighty name, amen).

These are the words the Holy Spirit suddenly poured into my spirit this morning, and I am to share them now.

All glory belongs to God.

I love you all, but God love you BEST of all! May God bless you all.

The Principles of Love

The Principles of Love:

Love is sometimes self-sacrificial.
Love requires selflessness.
Love calls for patience.

This is the kind of love that Jesus showed us when He gave up His own life to die for our sins. This is the kind of love Jesus demonstrates daily. Jesus provides our example of how we should love one another: with self-sacrifice when necessary, selflessness, and patience. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 goes more in depth. (Please closely examine those vital verses about sincere love.)

In demonstration of our love for someone, there will be times when we will have to have and even maintain the following mindsets:

"I love your soul, more than I love the desires of my flesh."

"I care about your spirit, more than I care about what my flesh desires."

"I care more about God's purpose for me in your life than I care about what I desire according to my own knowledge, emotions, and ideas."

"I care more about your life and about the negative effects my disobedience could have on your life, more than I care about what I desire."

Jesus said the following:

41 And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup [of divine wrath] from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.” 43 Now an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.

-Luke 22:41-43

Although Jesus knew He had quite a road ahead: Jesus chose God's will. He chose obedience to our Heavenly Father. He chose God's perfect bigger picture. Jesus chose His LOVE for US . . . over any other emotion, desire, or outcome. It is a beautiful thing that He did so. Jesus chose US and His LOVE for us, over SELF: Jesus provides our greatest example and best demonstrates the principles of love.

Sometimes, God will ask us to do something for love or in light of love that our flesh will not agree with, but we will have to step forward in faith, and above all, in obedience to our all-knowing, loving, perfect, Heavenly Father. God sees the bigger picture. God knows what He is doing. If you need strength, just like how Jesus was provided with strength, God can provide you with strength as well, in whatever ways He sees best.

Whatever God is asking you to do in order to demonstrate sincere love, however God is asking you to love someone or those people, whatever instructions God gives to you: Just do YOUR part, and TRUST GOD to provide the BEST outcomes. WE MUST TRUST GOD'S LOVE.

These are the words the Holy Spirit poured into my spirit, beginning right upon awakening. He is guiding me to share at this time.

Amen. All glory to God.

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all. May God bless you all.

True Love Defined:

What is true love according to God's Holy Word? Here is the awesome, wonderful, beautiful truth:

Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. 7 Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].

-1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (Amplified Bible)

If ever you need a reminder of what true love ishow to express true love, how you should be treated, how true love should feelalways refer back to these insightful, vital verses about true love.

May God bless you always.

Our Feelings DO Matter to God!

Our Feelings DO Matter to God!

Stop telling people things like, "When it comes to God's Word, YOUR FEELINGS DON'T MATTER." Why? Because to our Heavenly Father, our feelings DO matter:

If our feelings did not matter to God, He would NOT offer us His Holy Spirit, who is also referred to as our "COMFORTER"—and comforting addresses our FEELINGS.

If God did not care about our feelings, He would not offer HEALING—for our HURT FEELINGS.

If our feelings did not matter to God, He would not offer us His TRUTHS—for our CONFUSED FEELINGS.

You hear people say, "It's not about WHAT you say, it's about HOW you say it." While that is true for a lot of situations, that is not true for ALL situations. Sometimes, no matter how "kindly" you say a thing, your words can still hurt (doing more harm than actual good)—and telling someone that their "feelings do not matter," can really hurt.

For some, your true (humble and faith-filled) intentions are recognized: What you are trying to convey is that God's truth is God's truth, no matter what. That is righteous and true. However, God DOES care about our feelings, even those feelings that do not align with God's Word or His will . . . and that is part of WHY He provided for us His Holy Word in the first place—to provide correction to what we might FEEL is "right" and provide for us His TRUTHS, and to then provide comfort and healing regarding any FEELINGS that often times follow after we are corrected or are trying to turn our lives around to align with God's Word.

Instead of saying, "Your feelings don't matter," try saying the following: "How you feel matters to God and to me. However, how we feel does not justify our sins. How we feel does not change God's truths." Then, LOVINGLY, refer them to God's Word about whatever the matter is. Do all of this led by the Holy Spirit, of course.

Be careful how you speak to people. While one should never take how PEOPLE have treated them out on GOD, the reality is that people WILL and sometimes DO take how you—a proclaimed Christian and "representative of Jesus Christ" in their eyes—have treated them, out on God; sometimes, this pushes them away from Christ. So, be patient. Be loving. Be honest, but without being insensitive. Again, be loving. GOD cares about everyone's feelings, and so should we.

This is what God's Holy Spirit stopped me in my tracks to share. Glory to God.

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all! May God bless you all!

Judging God's Messengers

Judging God's Messengers:

Stop judging people based on the titles and statuses they do and do not have, or do not have yet:

Paul was a murderer, and he specifically murdered Christians—but God chose Paul to become an Apostle!

In Paul's singleness—God used Paul to give instructions and advice on marriage!

David was not a giant—but God used David to slay Goliath, a giant!

Mary was a virgin—but God chose Mary to become pregnant (giving birth to our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ)!

Moses was not good with words—but God called Moses to be a leader, to free God's people from slavery, and God also used Moses to deliver to us some of the most read and vital words in the world: the Ten Commandments!

Jesus Christ did not have MANY titles—but He instructs on ALL things!

Also, stop judging people by how they appear:

One day, I had someone not believe that the LORD had a warning for me to deliver to them . . . ONLY because of my physical appearance. The Holy Spirit let me know this. He actually had me to let this person know that they were judging me and also why they were doing so: They were speechless, clearly shocked that I knew this information [because of God]. However, they still did not receive what GOD was saying to them through me . . . because they were blinded by their judgments about ME. Not too long after that, when what God was trying to warn them about through me came to pass in their life, they returned to me in tears wanting answers. (Of course, God is loving and, humbly said, so am I. We dealt with their situation, led by God.) That has occurred in my life on other occasions as well.

I did NOT share that to make myself look good or holier than anybody—GOD IS ALWAYS TO BE GLORIFIED, I am just a vessel for Him. I am sharing this, as led by my Heavenly Father to do, to say the following:

SOME OF YOU ARE MISSING
*GOD'S MESSAGES*
BECAUSE YOU ARE
TOO BUSY JUDGING
*THE MESSENGERS*!

When someone is filled with the Holy Spirit—whether you believe it or not, whether you accept it or not—IT IS NOT THEM SPEAKING: The HOLY SPIRIT is speaking THROUGH that vessel!

19 But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

-Matthew 10:19-20

Because someone does not LOOK LIKE what YOU think they should look like—you judge, and you miss God's words.

Because you are too busy judging a person based on their PAST—you judge, and you miss God's words.

Because you will not HUMBLE YOURSELF to listen to someone whom YOU feel does not have the appropriate position or title (in YOUR mind) to be able to advise you—you judge, and you miss God's words.

Because you have allowed your mind to be swayed about a person based off of GOSSIP and NOT KNOWING A FULL TRUTH ABOUT A SITUATION OR PERSON—you judge, and you miss God's words.

The list goes on. The point remains the same: Stop judging the vessel—God uses whomever He desires. God does not need the approval of man to make decisions about whom He will or will not use or speak through!

God's Word tells us in 1 John 4:1 to test every spirit because not every spirit is sent from God. So, we SHOULD be seeking God about everything and everyone that comes our way. However, this is about your judging and not humbling yourself, and consequently, you missing God's warnings and even some of your blessings as a result of your judgments and lack of humility.

When you dismiss a person, mock them, laugh at them, or gossip about them, when all they have done is be a vessel for the LORD—it is YOU who misses out, not them, and it is YOU who will have to answer to the LORD. If you do not understand what someone is saying to you on God's behalf, or even why God chose them to speak through, do not mistreat them or be so quick to dismiss them: TAKE IT TO THE LORD IN PRAYER. After all, God and God's Word (line the message up with God's Word, the Holy Bible) have ALL of your answers. Choose to seek God, instead of choosing to be judgmental or evil.

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all! May God bless you all!

"Submitting" to Your Husband

"Submitting" to Your Husband:

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

-Ephesians 5:22-23

"I am NOT 'submitting' to a man!"

Chill, sister soldier. "Submit" does NOT mean that a woman should allow a man to control her, abuse her, belittle her, or use her. God is LOVE, and that does NOT reflect God's love.

In short, to "submit" to your husband means the following: Your husband is to be the head of the household, taking care of you and your family; your husband is leading AS he is being led by GOD.

You cannot submit to just ANY man. Make sure he is God's will for you—because a man who truly loves the LORD and is submissive to God and His will, while you cannot expect him to be perfect, he will certainly love and lead you and the household righteously and faithfully.

As for you, the amazing wife: A good man knows the incredible value of a good woman! You are to be your husband's "help meet". What does this mean? "Help meet" means "suitable helper". This means you are a TEAM. This means that a woman's "help" is IMPORTANT in a man's life—as God's Holy Word tells us the following:

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

-Genesis 2:18 (KJV)

The Amplified version explains the following:

Now the LORD God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] suitable and complementary for him.”

-Genesis 2:18

Ladies, please read Proverbs 31:10-31: The virtuous woman is an amazing partner for her husband, while still being amazing in other areas as well. This woman had her own business, purposes, and skills (not that all of this is required of her, but she was capable and she achieved her goals, and she still took care of her family as a wife). You becoming one with your husband does not mean you lose purpose. Not at all. You will have purpose as individuals, and you will have purpose together as one with each other.

In marriage, you are a TEAM. You LOVE each other. You are to be PURPOSEFUL with each other. You SUPPORT each other. A man has his duties as a husband, it is quite a responsibility to care for a household. Keeping this in mind, ladies, (prepare yourselves if you are unmarried, evaluate yourselves if you are married, and) bring something to the table as well—and that is YOUR VALUE AS A WOMAN. Please, KNOW that you are VALUABLE and ACTIVELY STAND in this beautiful truth. LOVING your husband also means being aware that men have feelings too, this is part of where being a loving "help meet" comes in: Love him faithfully. Encourage him. Talk to him. Be his confidant. Be his best friend. Be loving ears that listen when he needs someone to talk to—be that someone. Be a shoulder for him to cry on (yes, men cry, and that is okay). Make love to your husband selflessly and lovingly; your husband is not an object of lust, he is a man who desires every part of your love, just like you desire every part of his love (sex is one of the many expressions of love, and 1 Corinthians 7:3-4 are also important verses here). Edify him. Pray for him. Pray with him. Love his soul.

Let your union be a reflection of the relationship between Jesus Christ and His bride (the body of Christ)—loving, caring, at times self-sacrificial, united, a team, purposeful, respectful, in God's will, pleasing to God. You submit to each other in special ways, ways that are unique to your positions as "husband" and "wife", and in the same ways simply as children of God. SERVE EACH OTHER, LOVINGLY. (Please read Ephesians 5:21-33.)

Humbly said, it is now 5:58am [at the time this was recorded]. It has been over an hour and a half since God started pouring all of these words into my spirit. As led by God, prayerfully, I wrote them all down and am sharing them now.

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all. May God bless you all.
