Your Enemies Will Watch Your Elevation

Your Enemies Will Watch Your Elevation:

Some of you are wondering why some people are still around in your life after they have done you wrong . . . why God has not removed them, or why He has not delivered you from them. Here is why (for some of you): Because it says the following in God's Word:

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over."

-Psalm 23:5

Look at the BIGGER picture, and in due time, your circumstances will change. In the meantime, understand the following:

God will heal you—right in front of the same people who hurt you!

God will exalt you—right in front of the same people that put you down and belittled you!

God will bless you—right in front of the same people who tried to curse you, who tried to sabotage you and/or your life, or who harmed you in any way!

God will show you favor—right in front of the people who treated you like you are beneath them, like you are worthless, like you are undeserving of God's best!

God will shower you with His love, with gifts, with blessings—right in front of people who loved you conditionally, those who did not truly love you at all, and the ones who were evil toward you!

GOD IS PREPARING A TABLE FOR YOU IN THE PRESENCE OF YOUR ENEMIES. He has His reasons . . . just know that all things God does is good, and He knows what He is doing. Enjoy your new life. Enjoy your blessings. Enjoy God's purposes for your life. Enjoy your new beginnings. Worry not about your enemies . . . just enjoy your life. Let them talk. Forgive, and enjoy your life. It is a new season . . . it has already begun.

[Thus Say the LORD. Hallelujah!]

Jesus Chose YOU

Jesus Chose YOU

Jesus Chose YOU:

"But I'm no good."

"I made too many mistakes."

"But I . . . *insert sins, mistakes, and/or flaws here*"

Guess what? God did not ask you all of that!

God wants you to COME AS YOU ARE—and the more you get to know Jesus, seek God, read His Word, and allow yourself to be led by His Holy Spirit, it will be pretty hard to STAY as you are or to even totally desire to. (We should come as we are, but we should not remain in our sins. God can help us with this.)

God is NOT asking you to change BEFORE you come to Him: Changes come WHEN, AFTER, and BECAUSE you have come to GOD! Of course, we must try, we must do our parts—and God will do the rest! When we ask Jesus Christ to come into our hearts and we accept Him as our LORD and Savior, submit to God's will, and we let God lead the way, EVERYTHING will fall into place, including our purpose(s) in life.

Let us take Paul (formally "Saul") for example:

Paul killed many people. In fact, Paul killed Christians thinking he was doing the right thing spiritually. God could have looked at Paul and his actions and said, "Throw the whole man away!" HOWEVERRRR, God did NOT do that!

God looked at how passionate Paul was! God looked at Paul's passion, his determination, his persistence, his vigor, his strength, his leadership abilities, his refusal to back down, his fearlessness, his boldness, and his capability to stand up for what he believes is right! God also already knew His purposes for Paul.

With all that in mind: God stopped Paul in his tracks, God met Paul where he was—(literally) physically, mentally, characteristically, emotionally, and spiritually—showed him what is right; Paul submitted to God's perfect will and accepted God’s love, and God used ALL of those awesome qualities God had already placed in Paul for GOD'S WILL! For GOOD! For GOD'S KINGDOM!

God has perfect plans for your life. Do not back away because of past sins, current sins, flaws, fears, mistakes, past failures, insecurities, etc. God already knows all. God already has everything covered. God just wants YOU. God chose YOU for a reason. Accept His love and His perfect plans for your life, submitting to His loving and perfect will for your life, and everything will be worked out for your good . . . everything will fall into place and in God's perfect timing.

You might have doubts—but we can trust our entire selves and our entire lives in the loving hands of our ALL-KNOWING God.

If you are asking yourself, "Why me?" Well, WHY NOT you? YOU are JUST RIGHT, and chosen by our PERFECT Heavenly Father.

It is time to REALLY LIVE.

All Glory to the Most High, our Heavenly Father, God. These are the words the LORD poured into my spirit to share. May God bless you.

Jesus Chose YOU.

Pray First

Before you overreact—pray.

Before you jump to conclusions—pray.

Before you make a serious and even a life-changing decision based off of emotions, your own wisdom, or fears—pray.

Before you give up . . . on God's promises, on that person, on that important thing, on yourself—pray.

Before you move in fear—pray.

Before you consult your past to make a decision about your future, instead of consulting God about your future, when it is God who lovingly holds our futures—pray.

Before you sabotage a good thing—pray.

For some, the finish line is RIGHT THERE, CLOSELY APPROACHING . . . and the enemy would LOVE nothing more than to see God's precious daughter/son give up now: RIGHT BEFORE the beautiful changes. RIGHT BEFORE the new beginnings. RIGHT BEFORE the breakthrough. RIGHT BEFORE that second chance. RIGHT BEFORE God's promises, and even long awaited promises, are finally fulfilled. Some are ALREADY IN "THE PROMISED LAND", even if it doesn't feel like it . . . ALREADY THERE . . . but the enemy DOES NOT want that to be understood or realized. KEEP GOING! We must keep trusting God and in His perfect timing, love, plans, ways, and will.

These are the words the Holy Spirit is pouring into my spirit right now [May 12, 2021].

Glory to God.

Our Feelings DO Matter to God!

Our Feelings DO Matter to God!

Stop telling people things like, "When it comes to God's Word, YOUR FEELINGS DON'T MATTER." Why? Because to our Heavenly Father, our feelings DO matter:

If our feelings did not matter to God, He would NOT offer us His Holy Spirit, who is also referred to as our "COMFORTER"—and comforting addresses our FEELINGS.

If God did not care about our feelings, He would not offer HEALING—for our HURT FEELINGS.

If our feelings did not matter to God, He would not offer us His TRUTHS—for our CONFUSED FEELINGS.

You hear people say, "It's not about WHAT you say, it's about HOW you say it." While that is true for a lot of situations, that is not true for ALL situations. Sometimes, no matter how "kindly" you say a thing, your words can still hurt (doing more harm than actual good)—and telling someone that their "feelings do not matter," can really hurt.

For some, your true (humble and faith-filled) intentions are recognized: What you are trying to convey is that God's truth is God's truth, no matter what. That is righteous and true. However, God DOES care about our feelings, even those feelings that do not align with God's Word or His will . . . and that is part of WHY He provided for us His Holy Word in the first place—to provide correction to what we might FEEL is "right" and provide for us His TRUTHS, and to then provide comfort and healing regarding any FEELINGS that often times follow after we are corrected or are trying to turn our lives around to align with God's Word.

Instead of saying, "Your feelings don't matter," try saying the following: "How you feel matters to God and to me. However, how we feel does not justify our sins. How we feel does not change God's truths." Then, LOVINGLY, refer them to God's Word about whatever the matter is. Do all of this led by the Holy Spirit, of course.

Be careful how you speak to people. While one should never take how PEOPLE have treated them out on GOD, the reality is that people WILL and sometimes DO take how you—a proclaimed Christian and "representative of Jesus Christ" in their eyes—have treated them, out on God; sometimes, this pushes them away from Christ. So, be patient. Be loving. Be honest, but without being insensitive. Again, be loving. GOD cares about everyone's feelings, and so should we.

This is what God's Holy Spirit stopped me in my tracks to share. Glory to God.

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all! May God bless you all!

"SOUL TIES" ARE A FALSE TEACHING

"SOUL TIES" ARE A FALSE TEACHING:

Someone asked me about "soul ties". The LORD led me into a Bible study to answer this question with biblical references. The Holy Spirit led me in answering this kind young lady. He has also led me to share the answer with everyone. Please read what the LORD says about so-called "SOUL TIES".

"Soul ties" are a false teaching created by Satan to try to cause us to feel mentally bound. As the LORD leads (I am typing prayerfully, being led by the Holy Spirit), this will be backed up with His Holy Word.

There are many false teachings out there. The LORD warns about these in His Holy Word:

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing,

but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

-Matthew 7:15

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

-2 Peter 2:1

Satan creates falsehoods (he tells an abundance of lies) to create fears within us. Some of the most believable lies are ones that have SOME truth injected into them—but THAT is what makes them believable, THAT is what makes it DECEPTION: it is the "BAIT and SWITCH."

If Satan can create fears within us, he can have some power over our minds, and if we let him, over our futures as well. Because of his lies, some people might feel that it is "too late" for them to come to Christ or to return to Christ—so they stay in the world, are depressed, remain struggling in their sins, and so on, all because they have been led to believe lies about God's love, God's Word, and about themselves.

Speaking specifically about "soul ties", Satan can use that lie to cause people to believe that they are cursed, especially regarding their love life, or that it is too late for them to have a loving relationship or be married; Satan can make it difficult for them to completely move forward from exes and heartbreak—because they believe the lie that they are somehow BOUND to them. Two souls being bound to or intertwined with each other is not possible—that is a lie from Satan. We all have our OWN souls, and our OWN souls will either spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. Even if you are married, your SOUL is yours: You CANNOT go to Heaven or Hell as "ONE"—that is NOT Biblical.

Here are a couple scriptures used to supposedly "back up" the false teaching of "soul ties" . . . and the TRUTH will then follow:

SCRIPTURE: Now when he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
-1 Samuel 18:1

TRUTH: This is not literal, it is just an EXPRESSION that means the following: Two people can have so much in common and have such a deep connection, that those two people have a special bond. Refer back to the last part of that verse, "Jonathan loved him *AS* his own soul." They DID NOT and CANNOT actually BECOME one soul. On to the next scripture.

SCRIPTURE: 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.”
-1 Corinthians 6:16

TRUTH: This is another EXPRESSION, it is NOT literal. "One" means the following: Closely and intimately united.

The teaching and warning here is that becoming "one" (being closely, rather, sexually, intimate) with your husband or wife is spiritually lawful—it is not a sin. While being "one" (being closely, rather, sexually, intimate) with a harlot or someone you are NOT married to, is fornication—it is a sin.

Note that God did NOT say "one SOUL", He said "one FLESH". You are joining your FLESH together when you have sexual intercourse. How you have sex, the very ACT of sex, joins your FLESH together.

Now, "becoming one" with your husband or wife, this is a SPIRITUAL JOINING, joined together by GOD, as marriage is a HOLY UNION. Sex is just one of the many expressions of love and one of many loving responsibilities (see verses below) in a marriage.

Verses about marital sex:

3 The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. 4 The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife.

5 Do not deprive each other of sexual relations, unless you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy for a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. Afterward, you should come together again so that Satan won’t be able to tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 6 I say this as a concession, not as a command.
-1 Corinthians 7:3-6

Fornication is a sin, but it can be forgiven. We are not bound to or tied with another person's soul when we sin—we are just in sin, backslidden, and are in danger of Hell. HOWEVER, GOD IS SO LOVING AND HE FORGIVES!

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

-1 John 1:9

See, God not only FORGIVES us, He also CLEANSES US from all unrighteousness. He did not say, "I forgive you, but you are tied to that sin or that person’s soul." Again, that is IMPOSSIBLE because we ALL have our OWN soul to be held accountable for (2 Corinthians 5:10).

I love you all, but GOD truly loves you BEST of all! May God bless you all!

Trust God More Than Man

If you can trust a man-made CHAIR to hold you up—you can trust GOD to hold you up when you are down, in need, struggling, depressed, stressed out, heartbroken.

If you can trust a man-made SWEATER to comfort you—you can trust the HOLY SPIRIT, God's very own Spirit, our COMFORTER, to comfort you when in need.

If you can trust a man-made BUILDING to shelter you—you can trust GOD to shelter you, provide for you, protect you.

If you can trust a man-made REMEDY to help or heal you—you can trust GOD to help and heal you! JESUS heals!

If you can trust a man-made PHONE to connect you—you can trust our loving HEAVENLY FATHER, GOD, to connect you, perfectly.

If you can trust PEOPLE, with flaws, fickleness, and selfish ways—you can surely trust GOD, who is perfect, reliable, trustworthy, faithful, and absolutely unconditionally loving.

We sometimes, without a second thought, have no problem putting our trust in man-made THINGS and PEOPLE, and even in OUR-FLAWED-SELVES, but fail to remember just how loving, powerful, intentional, purposeful, intricately strategic, trustworthy, and faithful, GOD—the awesome Creator of the entire universe, our Heavenly Father, our very own Creator—truly is. When we ask for God's will, we must trust God's timing. If we are deciding to trust God's timing, we must be patient. While we are being patient, we must stand in faith. As we stand in faith, we must be prayerful.

The devil is a LIAR. Our flesh—in opposed to being led by the Holy Spirit—is UNWISE. Jesus is TRUTH. Seek God ALWAYS.

Trust God: God's perfect will, ways, timing, who, what, when, where, why, and how. He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega, all-knowing, unconditionally loving, perfect. Our Heavenly Father knows what he is doing. Trust Him.

It is now 2:00 AM. When the LORD leads, I follow—no matter the time. Humbly said, these are the words the Holy Spirit has poured into my Spirit.

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all. May God bless you all.

Jesus STILL Sees You!

"Jesus STILL Sees You!" | Moments of Edification:

(View this video below.)

Be encouraged! God already knew you would make that mistake, stray off of His will, backslide, and so on, and before you even knew you would even consider it: Yet, God STILL loves you and He STILL has a plan for your life! Don't believe the lies of the enemy! It is not too late for you! You're about to find out just how loving Jesus Christ truly is, as we examine His love for Simon Peter even after knowing that he was about to deny even knowing Jesus, three times, after Jesus was taken for trial to be crucified! God and Jesus (along with the Holy Spirit) are One: God is the same yesterday, today, and forever! You might have fallen, but: “Jesus STILL Sees You!” Let God get you back on track!

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all! May God bless you all! All glory to God!

Our Verses of Focus:

28 “You have stayed with me in my time of trial. 29 And just as my Father has granted me a Kingdom, I now grant you the right 30 to eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. And you will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. 32 But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”

33 Peter said, “Lord, I am ready to go to prison with you, and even to die with you.”

34 But Jesus said, “Peter, let me tell you something. Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.”

-Luke 22:28-34

"5 Ways to Stay on Track":

Sometimes, we get off track along the way in our Christian walk: We get distracted. We make mistakes. We get deceived. We stray off of God's will for our lives. We hurt people, unintentionally and intentionally. We disobey God due to the desires of our flesh and hearts. We even rebel against God's Word and God's instructions to us. We backslide.

Is any of that right or good? No. Have we lost God's love because of our blunders, sins, or straying from Him or His will? We certainly have not! God is so very forgiving, loving, and merciful! He gives us chances! He blesses us with new beginnings! If we stray, because of His deep love for us, He will somehow go after us (Luke 15:3-7)!

God offers us instructions and advice to guide us along the way in this life. Because of His love for us, God desires to help us to stay on the right track, and also to get us back on the right track when we fall off. God's love for you, your purpose in life, the fact that God has a perfect plan for your life—this all still remains! Let's go right into God's Word! Here are 5 Ways to Stay on Track!

1. Observe and filter your personal life.

Having toxic people in your life can negatively affect you in various ways—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and even health-wise. The presence of a toxic individual can also make you less productive for the LORD, as some people serve as spiritual distractions. Toxic people can influence you in negative ways, even subconsciously to where you are not even aware of their negative influence on you at first!  A toxic person or crowd can cause delays and even a halt in your spiritual and personal growth, and also delays in your life.

1 Corinthians 15:33 says this:
33 Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.”

While Jesus has given us the commandment to love one another (John 13:34), He also wants us to be wise about who we allow into our personal lives (this could affect our spiritual lives).

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says this:
14 Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?

2. Have some alone time with God in bible study and prayer to know God's will for your life.

For most decisions, especially life-changing decisions, it is best that we seek only God for our answers! Sometimes, listening to people can get you into trouble, even when they mean well. (I seek God for almost everything; and I only get personal with, allow myself to be comforted by, or ask advice from, people when God leads me to do so.) It is God Who has a will for our lives! It is God Who is all-knowing! It is God Who has all the answers! For the record, there is nothing wrong with seeking wise counsel and help from people—but please allow God to lead you to whom you should be speaking to, receiving advice from, and getting personal with!

John 16:13-15 gives these wonderful truths:
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. 14 He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’

The Spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God's own Spirit that He shares with His children. Who better to seek answers from, than the One who holds our futures and has a perfect will for our lives? God is awesome!

The world will say this to you: "Always follow your heart!" However, God's Word tells us that we cannot even be advised by our own hearts! Our hearts might be in alignment with God's will sometimes, but this is not the case all of the time. God Words gives us this warning:

Jeremiah 17:9:
“The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?"

Lastly, there are just some things only God can teach us, no one else. For example, Paul shared that he did not seek man, only God, so that he could do God's will. (Read Galatians 1:11-24 for more.)

In Galatians 1:12, Paul shares this:
12 I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ.

3. Discipline yourself.

We should be working on disciplining ourselves: in the ways of the LORD, to prevent from falling into temptations, and so that we are able to fight temptations when we catch ourselves giving in. This is a broad topic. So, here are a few scripture that are sure to help us to discipline ourselves in every area of our lives.

1 Corinthians 9:23-27:
23 I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.
24 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! 25 All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

Isaiah 26:3-4:
You will keep in perfect peace
    all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Trust in the Lord always,
for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.

Ephesians 5:1-2:
Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

Romans 6:12-13:
12 Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

4. Make sure you are seeking to please God over pleasing man.

When you seek to please God, follow the loving example of Jesus Christ, seek His perfect will and instructions, and are obedient to the Word of God and to the voice of the Holy Spirit—you can never go wrong. You cannot worry about what other people might think, say, or feel about you! As long as you are doing the will of the LORD, that is what is vital! Keep serving the LORD, and as He leads you to and with love. People's thoughts, assumptions, judgments, and feelings about you, should never take the place of what God thinks, knows, says, and feels about you! With a humble heart, meditate on this very wise thing that Paul says:

Galatians 1:10:
10 Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

5. Be led by the Holy Spirit in every area of life.

Always be led by the Holy Spirit in every area of your life! The Holy Spirit is our Guide, our Comforter, and our Advocate! Look at what the following verses tell us about the Holy Spirit and being led by Him!

Romans 8:26-28:
26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Galatians 5:16-17 and 19-25:
16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

Lastly, please careful: You cannot trust everybody who comes along and says that they are a messenger of the LORD! It is so very important that we get to know God and His voice for ourselves. God's Word warns us about false prophets; and He instructs us on how we can identify them, how we should handle them, and how we should handle ourselves in regards to them!

1 John 4:1-6:
1 Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.

Conclusion:

Know that you are here reading this for a reason and this is not by accident: Keep going, right toward the LORD! Let God use you, and let God be glorified! All glory to God, may you be blessed by what you have read! Peace be with you!

I love you all, but God loves you BEST of all! may God bless you all!
